SmartKids Asia is back! On 17 to 19 March 2017, we are bringing to you an exciting lineup at SmartKids Asia, specially crafted for parents and children. Located at Singapore Expo Hall 6, this is SmartKids Asia’s sixth and latest installation since 2012.

This year, SmartKids Asia is working alongside the creative team at The Straits Times and The Little Red Dot magazine to introduce a smorgasbord of activities for children to Learn, Play and Discover! From art contests to holiday camps, SmartKids Asia offers a wide-range of activities for the ultimate learning experience.

Building on the key spokes of SmartKids Asia, the three-day event focuses on the pillars of nurturing a healthy and happy child. At SmartKids Asia, parents are welcome to source out for enrichment offerings from top education providers and experts in the field and are introduced to the best of health and wellness for their child.

Introducing, SmartKids Asia 2017! Here’s the list of activities we have in store for you:

1. Let your child eat and play for *free at SmartKids Village. (NEW!)
For children of all ages, the SmartKids Village offers complimentary snacks and drinks from MARIGOLD UHT Milk, London Choco Roll and more! There’ll be more than 30,000 food items to be given away. Limited quantities will be available each day.

2. Pick up great parenting tips at The Straits Times Parenting Masterclasses (NEW!) (because we must always welcome additional help when it comes to parenting)
Hear it live from experts including award-winning author, Sha-En Yeo and News-in-Education specialists at The Straits Times, Debra Ann Francisco, and many more. This segment will be happening on Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5.30pm. More information available here.

3. Join Colouring and/or Art Contests – because creativity is KING. (NEW!)
Two contests on all three days! To promote creativity amongst children, we are introducing a colouring contest and an art contest for children in two different age groups. Online registrations are now closed.

Walk-ins registrations for Stabilo Junior Colouring Contest (for 5-8 years old) & SmartKids Asia Art Competition (for 9-12 years old) will be available on-site.


4. Get your hands dirty (but with the good kind of dirt) at SmartKids Asia Activity Area.
Be introduced to a list of hands-on activities specially crafted for parents and children from ages three to 12 years on all three days. Take part in activities such as cake-pop making, printmaking and more. Sign up here or register at the event. 


5. Let fairy tales (and childhood) come to life at SmartKids Asia Storyland. (NEW!)
Partnering with National Library Board, we are bringing to you timeless classics in the form of theatrical plays and storytelling! Children will be immersed in stories such as Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Little Red Riding Hood, Hansel & Gretel and more!

Bonus: Pororo Park Singapore, the Official Play Partner of SmartKids Asia will presenting a version of Jack & The Beanstalk starring Pororo the Penguin. CUTE! Seats are filling up fast. Register here!


6. Sign your child up for Free Trial Classes – because it’s FREE.
Three days of FREE trial classes – a great platform for parents to test-drive the many lists of educational and enrichment programmes that are best suited for their child. Choose from programmes encompassing Math, Science, English, Robotics, Coding and more. See the full list here.


7. Be wowed by a variety of performances on SmartKids Asia’s main stage – it’s really exciting.
A comprehensive set of stage segments from various exhibitors encompassing education, the arts and sports. Be entertained by stage performances at SmartKids Asia from Taekwondo recitals, musical acts and more. Expect a little bit of magic in every performance!


8. Look out for the next Taufik Batisah at SmartKids Asia’s first Talent Time contest.
Talent Time – a stage segment featuring children from all walks of life displaying various skills and talents for the coveted title of SmartKids Asia Talent Time champion! Expect lots of dancing, singing and instrument-playing. 
Children from ages 5 – 12 years old will flaunt their talents and wow the judges at SmartKids Asia’s very first Talent Time Contest.


9. Dance, sing and create lasting memories with our favourites cartoon characters!
We are bringing big names such as Pororo & Friends (featuring Pororo, Petty and Krong) and My Little Pony (featuring Apple Jack, Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle). The characters will put on a dance number and ‘meet and greet’ session on stage for children and parents on all three days!


10. Let your child jump around for hours and hours on three new inflatable attractions (while you browse)
To keep children of all ages wildly entertained, a space of more than 200sqm will be dedicated to a set of fun, and one-of-its-kind inflatable attractions. Best of all, it’s free for all to play! The exciting attractions include the Ultimate Slide, Loopy Ladder and Sticky Wall. Exciting? We say, totally.


11. Grab a SmartKids Asia Goodie Bags (worth $50.00). There are really a lot of goodies.
How to receive a goodie bag? Be the first 200 to queue at the door on each day to receive yours. (Online registration has officially closed). 


12. How to keep your child goal-oriented? Take part in SmartKids Asia Fun Passport.
The Fun Passport promises to deliver excitement for children of all ages. Complete the activities at 10 different pit stops and be entitled to ‘spin-the-wheel’ and win a prize. You may grab your fun passports at the event.


13. Feeling lucky? Participate in the daily lucky draw with prizes worth MORE THAN $10,000. Wow.
Happening at 7.30pm daily, the lucky draw compromises of prizes such as resort stays, attraction tickets, cash vouchers and more. Be sure to stick around till the end of each day because you might just be one of the lucky 20 winners daily. To participate, simply spend any amount in a single receipt.
